OVERCOMING DEPRESSION

Everyone has demons they battle; by demons I mean bad things, the darkness in our minds that drag us down. Something we forget is that all of these bad things that drag us down will only keep dragging us down deep into depression till we do the inevitable.

Overcoming all of these is really hard. Depression is not just a place to be cause sometimes we try coming out and when we think we have overcome it, it comes from nowhere and we are back to where we started from.

How do you overcome depression?
Trust me, it’s not an easy thing to do.
But the following could help

1. TRUST GOD AND HAVE FAITH
Yes, trust God, turn to him, lean on him, learn to love him cause without this the journey will be really hard. To trust God can be hard sometimes especially when you feel too worthless but remember you were created the way you are for a reason and he loves you anyhow you are. He created you the way you are and whatever choices you made that haunts you should be taken to him. I always used to feel not good enough till I decided to trust God.

2. DON’T BE AFRAID TO CHANGE AND EVOLVE
Change is the only constant thing in life. Don’t be afraid to make changes in your life(to grow, to evolve).

3. SELF LOVE IS THE KEY
This is the hardest part and that is to love yourself however you are. Smile and know for God to love you and keep you safe and alive then you are special. There is nothing wrong with you. You are worth everything and deserve to be happy and not beg for happiness. You were made in the image of God.

I used to feel unhappy with how I look, never felt beautiful with or without makeup, self esteem super low but I looked within and saw that there was nothing wrong with me and the things I saw that weren’t good I made better. I spent time around positivity and worked and I am still working on my flaws but I have learnt to walk with my head high even with this flaws cause with them or without them I am an amazing growing human being and you should feel the same way

The most important thing is never let your mind be idle especially when you beginning to feel anxious. Pick a book, watch a movie or try and learn something new. Just don’t let your mind be open for any negative thought.

IT ONLY GETS BETTER WITH GOD.
